What’s on in Manchester in July

July is a busy month in and around Manchester for events and there isn’t a better time to visit for a Manchester Stag weekend or Hen weekend in Manchester. Whether you are looking for something sporty, something funny or something Musical, there is something for you.

On the 1st of July Manchester icons the Stone Roses play Heaton park on Sunday the 1st of July. Still gigging after nearly 30 years since they first formed they are playing three nights which culminate on the 1st of July in Heaton park which is becoming increasingly popular for huge events such as this. If you are looking for something with a little more Pop then Roxette are ringing their Charm school world tour to Manchester on the 4th of July.

For Jazz fans there is the Manchester Jazz festival running between the 13th and 21st of July. The Manchester Apollo hosts a wide variety of well known music acts including Alison Krauss on the 13th, Blink 182 on the 24th and Eddie Vedder on the 28th. Another Manchester legend in Morrissey plays the MEN arena on the 28th of July.
